All the controls are light, but stable, and I was able to \nreverse a 30\u00b0 bank in a touch under 1.5 seconds. I was flying without \ninstruments, but I would estimate a stall speed in the region of 20mph \nand hands-off cruise somewhere closer to 30mph.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\n single-surface design promises a low sink rate and Flylight (the UK \nAeros importers) claim a glide ratio approaching 10:1, although that \nfigure drops significantly when flown at higher airspeeds. This remains a very simple process taking \nseconds to achieve as (unlike some nanolights) the basebar of the wing \ncomfortably clears the nosewheel, allowing the bar to sit flat on the \nground.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\n Fox13T retails at \u20ac3600 with a \u00a3150 shipping charge (both +VAT). It&#8217;s \navailable in a full range of Dacron colours, or with the optional ODL6 \nTechnora covering (as shown in the pictures) as a \u20ac430 option. The wing \nweighs only 25.5kg, allowing the greatest flexibility of engine options \nor fuel capacity for sub-70kg operation. Cisco claim 27Hp, and with a 5-10knot \nheadwind I&#8217;d estimate the total ground roll for takeoff was in the \nregion of 25 metres.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve\n conducted flight tests with both a Helix carbon-fibre propeller and a \nwooden prop provided by Cisco. Early tests indicate the wooden prop \nappears to produce slightly more thrust and a nicer sound, although the \ncarbon prop should prove more hard-wearing.
