Moreover, the Minifox aligns seamlessly with the UK Single-Seat DeRegulated microlight category, offering unlimited flying without the need for annual “permit to fly” renewals. Ready-built or kit

Choose the Minifox that suits your preferences—opt for a comprehensive quick-build kit requiring approximately 50 hours for airframe completion, or select a ready-built aircraft for a hassle-free flying experience. The kit demands no specialised skills, and our English-language build manual and technical support ensure a smooth assembly process. For those who prefer a ready-to-fly Minifox, we offer CAA registration and initial test flight services.

Personalise your Minifox with UV-resistant Polyant PX5 trilaminate sailcloth wing covers, available in Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Fluorescent Yellow & Orange. The frame comes standard with a grey powder coat, but custom patterns and colors are available upon request—perfect for enthusiasts looking for a distinctive and unique ultralight aircraft.

Engine

The Minifox is ideally matched with the Corsair Black Bull (33Hp) or Polini Thor 250 (36Hp) engines, both available with electric start. Choose the carbon-fiber E-prop for optimal performance, or opt for the basic airframe if you prefer to fit your own engine or electric motor.

Now, seize the power of choice with the cutting-edge Vittorazi Cosmos 300 engine, boasting an impressive 36Hp output. Opt for the twin-spark option, and enjoy the assurance that your flights will unfold seamlessly until you gracefully touch down.

Don’t fancy 2-stroke? We now have the popular EOS Quattro 4-stroke engine available that can be easily fit to the Minifox in the initial build, or retrofitted to an existing Minifox aircraft. The Quattro offers a very hefty 30.5 Hp of power and 80kg of thrust, and with a consumption of just 2-2.5l/hr, you’ll be flying for hours on a single tank of regular unleaded fuel.

Cockpit

Enhance your flying experience with the Minifox’s optional fiberglass nosecone, available in Black, Blue, or Red, with corresponding seat material choices. The lexan screen balances reduced airflow around the pilot’s legs without compromising the open-cockpit feel. The included instrument panel offers ample space for your custom instrument pack.

For a more enclosed flying experience, the “Evo Speed” enclosed cabin provides comfort and cargo space, making it an ideal choice for colder winter flying.

Undercarriage

Tailor your Minifox’s undercarriage to your needs with standard lightweight puncture-proof foam-core tyres or opt for pneumatic tyres for a traditional appearance.

The tundra balloon tyre option adds minimal weight (2.5kg) and is perfect for waterlogged or rugged terrains. Drum brakes on both mainwheels, operated by a stick-mounted lever with a parking brake, ensure effective braking performance.
