Engine options

The Snake is available with a variety of modern two-stroke and now a four-stroke EOS paramotor engines. All of these offer much higher power-to-weight ratios compared with older microlight engines, and also benefit from worldwide spares and support.

Fun Flying are UK dealers for Vittorazi, Corsair and the new EOS Quattro 4-stroke engine, and we also hold spares for the now-discontinued Cisco range of engines. All engines are available with either recoil only or dual electric+recoil start systems, and a range of wooden or carbon propellers.

Please note our recommended engine option will vary depending on wing choice and pilot background; please contact us for an informal chat. We are also happy to supply a basic Snake for your own engine installation, or to quote for fitting your existing paramotor engine to a new trike.

EOS Quattro

The new EOS Quattro is the latest addition to our wide range of engines for the Snake. At just over 30Hp power output, it will get you off the ground in the blink of an eye. Vittorazi

The most popular Vittorazi engine is the Moster Plus, rated at 25Hp. Combining light weight with ample power, the Moster has a very loyal following in the paramotor community. Airplay also can supply the Moster Factory R as a special order. This lightened version is rated at 27Hp and is available with recoil start only.

Propeller options

Wood

The wooden propeller is the most affordable option. Finely crafted in Italy, they produce arguably the nicest sound of all the propellers available.

E-prop

The carbon E-prop is manufactured in France. They are often significantly lighter than other propellers and in our experience produce the highest thrust in most cases.

Helix

Helix carbon-fibre propellers are manufactured in Germany. They are very durable and robust, and would normally be our recommendation if you are likely to be operating your Snake from long grass or other less-than-perfect flying sites.

Snake with Cisco C-Max and Bull Max engines

Wing options

The Snake has been fully flight tested with the widest range of wings of any sub-70 nanolight currently on the UK market, made possible thanks to the extremely light weight of the trike. Take a look at our Wing Options page for more details.
